Court TV is Following Seattle case (oops truTV)

I know it's not Court TV anymore. Since I'm stuck on the couch on occasion, my ailments, I sometimes get into the cases they follow on the NOW truTV.

Phil Spector, OJ, you catch my drift. In fact, I CAN'T WAIT for the Phil Spector re-trial. That was/should be a GOOD ONE. And OJ, that should be VERY INTEREST.... (remember Laugh-In)

Right now they're following a shooting that occured in Seattle. Naveed Haq is on trial for forcing his way into the federation offices by holding a gun to a 14 year old girl's head, then fatally shooting employee Pamela Waechter and wounding five other women on July 28, 2006.

Haq, 32, has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity to one count of aggravated first-degree murder, five counts of attempted first-degree murder and numerous other charges, including malicious harassment — the state's hate-crime law.

If convicted of the murder charge, Haq faces life in prison without parole.

They're saying he was thinking he could bring peace in the Middle East. AND that obvisously he was dilusional. Quite the dilema for the jury.

TODAYS OPEN COURT QUESTION: DO you think mental illness prevented Haq from understanding the nature and consequences of his actions?
