Three plus years! I guess it's settling in. I mean, I don't cry all the time anymore. But, that gorgeous picture of him hits me and I just cannot believe it. My beautiful beautiful boy....
I miss him SO MUCH! How can I go on another 20 years without him? Not to say I'll last that long with my ailments, but that's what I thought when THE CRASH occurred. He was 25. I had 25 yrs with him. I'm 50 yrs old, and potentially I COULD live to 75. How does a parent live the same amount of time without their child that they lived with them?????

MOSTLY though, I was a single mom of two teen sons. ~ That was 1996 - 2003. Then in 2004 I lost my 25 yr old son to an impaired driver. Losing a son BEST FRIEND is NOT EASY, but I am surviving. I have a couple small dogs *Jack Russell/Minature Dachshund, and I do a lot of mentoring. Teens and young adults looking for help negotiating life struggles. ~ I am a GRANDMA to 3 grandsons, and I am working on Ernies M.O.M. (Memorial Outreach Mission)project. M.O.M. assists victims of DUI crashes.
